Not things but other loves

Not that these are things... but they are loves.

Rob and Benson.

My first post on my first blog

I have been dreaming of covering a few items of furniture at home for months now. Numerous things like post graduate study, work and well other more sensible (or not so sensible) things to spend money on have delayed my progress on my "resorations". My mother Vivienne in the meantime has done a great job of covering her first lounge. She should be proud. Her experiment has turned out fantastic.

Anyway, I have trolled through various blog sites and fabric sites and pictures and debated what fabric to buy and it has all turned my head upside-down.
I decided to start this blog so that I could log all the lovely things I find. So that I can look in the one place at all the ideas I loved and hopefully be inspired to get into my "restoration" projects.

The picture behind the title to my blog is of a lovely leather set of chairs that I saw in an antique shop in Tasmania. The leather was soft and eligant. I loved these chairs and this entire shop. There was a coffee grinder that Rob and I debated for days about purchasing. I loved this day and these chairs.
